Basic Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
Our Basic Class teaches new students the fundamental aspects of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, while providing a fun, safe, yet comprehensive workout. Classes begin with strength and endurance building exercises, followed by a demonstration and practice session. By focusing on safe and effective grappling technique you will commit the core movements of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to muscle memory.
The Basic Class is designed to introduce you to the basics of standing and ground grappling. You will learn the skills needed for proper takedowns, standing clinches, ground control and submissions. You will learn to control and resolve conflicts through the proper application of Jiu Jitsu. These techniques have been tested and refined through decades of study. Regardless of your size and physical ability, you can become an expert in this amazing martial art. Jiu Jitsu is for everyone!
Advanced Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
After completing the Basic class, students will graduate to an Advanced class. At this level you will already have established a firm foundation in Jiu Jitsu. The Advanced classes offer more complex grappling, throwing, striking and clinching techniques, in addition to Randori (open training) and extensive No-Gi grappling. Here you will enjoy medium-intensity sparring that conditions the whole body from head to toe. Through practical training, students learn everything they need to know in order to defend themselves if confronted by an opponent.
